For perfect images: How to use Dimming / Brightening

If the slider is moved up, the effect is like that of two slide projectors which project images on top of each other. In other words, each pixel is at least as light as the lightest of the two impinging pixels. The darker the darker of the two pixels is the more apparent is the brightness of the other one (negative multiplication). Moving the slider down causes the colors to mix, whereby they become to a greater or lesser extent darker. The effect is similar to when to slides are projected by a single projector (multiplication).
