Selective photo manipulation: Masking
Masks are used in PhotoPerfect for editing or manipulation selective parts of an image. Especially in combination with the retouche function masks are very useful. To apply the available functions to one or more masks, the mask dialog must remain active.
Various elements are available for defining a mask. The definition of the mask types polygon, rectangle, circle and fill are completed with a right click. If you right click on an element, you will then be able to delete, edit or invert it. The latter is useful when subtracting elements.
You can also create masks within masks, e.g. to remove parts of a mask already defined. However, these must be inverted to achieve this effect.
