Resize photos
This dialog is used to change the true size of the image. The new size can be given in pixels, inches, centimeters or percent (%). (Depending on the setting in Options, either inches or centimeters are displayed in the dialog.) Activate the required unit by clicking on the center radio button. If the "Longest Edge" box is checked, the image is scaled so that the shorter edge is adjusted proportionally. This is especially helpful with images which have different formats and which are to be batch processed. If "Keep Proportions" is unchecked this can distort the image, as the resizing is performed according to the value entered.

The Filter dropdown box allows you to select a method for calculating the image size. In order to make it more easy to compare the effects of these methods, the result is displayed in the preview on the left. You can obtain a 100% preview by clicking it with the right mouse button.
