Camera Tab


Virtual drive
Allows access to cameras which simulate an external drive according to the DCF standard.


Windows Image Aquisition (WIA)
Allows access to digital cameras under Windows ME/XP.


Focal length factor
Digital camera sensors are smaller than conventional 35 mm camera sensors. This means that an conversion factor must be applied to convert the focal length to correspond with the 35 mm format. You will find further information on this in the digital camera instructions. After you have entered a conversion factor it is displayed in the image data.


Olympus
Allows access to various Olympus camera models. You can have the system find port to be used automatically or set it yourself (quicker, because no search is necessary).


Reset factory settings
Resets the camera's transfer mode.


Run script before transfer A script entered here is run before the images are transferred from the camera/storage card.


Apply script to every transfered image
If this box is checked, a script entered here is run which is applied to every image transferred from the camera/storage card.


Run script after transfer A script entered here is run after the images are transferred from the camera/storage card.


External program
If a program is entered here it will be executed when the Connect camera function is used. Start parameters for the external program can be typed into the parameter field. The expression $path$ will be replaced by the current PC directory  path and $name$ by the name of the currently loaded image.


Rotate as specified by Exif rotation flag
If this option is checked, images are rotated (lossless) as specified on transfer to the computer.


Create preview images after transfer Creates a preview image for each image unless Exif data already  contains one.
