Fringe Correction

Fringe correction values
The same photos of the reference sheet can be used to determine the correction factor for automatic removal of chromatic aberration. To do this, load each image, zoom to a corner marker so that it roughly takes up the full window and then select fringe correction values. (The high zoom factor is important, otherwise the processing of the preview image is very slow.) Now adjust the two sliders alternatingly (as the settings influence each other) until the smallest possible value has been reached. The color field next to the sliders indicates that you are on the right track with green; red, on the other hand, indicates that the value is increasing again. Store the correction settings with OK.

Calculate fringe correction
See Calculate lens correction. The only difference is that the file  extension is *.cff.
