PhotoPerfect Manual
GPS Coordinates from Tracklist
Adopts the GPS data contained in an NMEA log file on the basis of date/time into the Exif data of the marked images.Images with more than 15 seconds deviation from the nearest waypoint are displayed blue; those which deviate by more than 60 seconds in red. The red and blue buttons can be used to remove the respective images from the list. You can remove either one or multiple marked images.
For safety's sake you can copy the tracklist to the image folder. Also, you can enter the time difference between the camera and UTC. This is especially useful when the camera clock was not adjusted. Furthermore, you can extract the altitude for each coordinate pair directly from Google Earth.
Images from devices which do not support the NMEA format can be converted to NMEA via the Import button. Note, though, that the button only becomes active when a script called 'GPSImport.vbs/ -.js' resides in the PhotoPerfect programm directory.
Several images can be shown directly in Google Earth, whereby all the coordinates are stored in a KMZ file.
