Hi Hoang Tran, the link to the tutorials is not working but the link to the press release is OK. Anyway, I have managed to get to the tutorial download page and had downloaded 8 tutorials on gradients and outdoor shots and they are a big help indeed to people like me, busy and not too creative. So your tutorials help lead me along to do some creative work on my images. This is great. Pls have more of these. Maybe you can put them into a tutorial workbook or whatever or consolidate these great tips and ideas in your PP Manual. Will be looking forward to more great tips.

Hi Hoang Tran,

I have just downloaded Ver 2.91. Should I uninstall Ver 2.90 before installing Ver. 2.91? This was what I did when I installed Ver. 2.90 as per installation instruction. However this time, I didn't notice any instruction to uninstall Ver. 2.90. BTW, thank you for the great tutorials. I was particularly impressed with Selective color, 70 style and crossprocessing. The other tutorials are nonetheless great. This service is certainly very welcome for us users as they stimulate our imaginations. We would not, unless with great perseverance and experimentation, even think we will be doing this, but looking at the effect, who said we would not. This is a service that almost all great image editing softwares are lacking. The features are there, but unless you are techie savvy, you wouldn't even think of using it, no matter how great it is. Thanks again for the wonderful tutorials and pls do keep it up.

Hi Tony,

This time you can just install over the old version.
Glad that you like the tutorials. Thanks for your positive feedback. It's really motivating to hear that. More will follow...

Cheers

Hi Hoang Tran,

My pleasure. BTW, sorry for my ignorance but can you give me step by step guide on how to come up with my macro and execute it as a batch process to edit multiple images. For example, I want to batch process multiple images based on a criteria I will apply to the model image for eg., white balance, some brightening, maybe a little contrast applied, etc. Just give me how to do these three and I can pick up from there. Again thank you very much for the great help you have been doing for us camera and photo addicts. God bless and more power to your great team....

Hi Tony,

Please find below a quick&dirty guide. To start making a custom batch processing script, please open a reference photo first. Then:

- Mark all photos you would like to batch process in the thumbnail view (1)
- Press F12 to call up the batch processing window
- Start customizing the parameters. Every time you select an option on the left side of the batch processing window (2) , the corresponding dialog window will open. e.g.
*white balance: you will get the dialog window for spot white balance here. Please just click on a point in the image to see the change. If you are satisfied with the result, click on "Execute". All parameters for white balance will then be transfered to the main window of the batch processing dialog (3)

* you can go on with brighten and contrast
- After having set all parameters, you can either save your script via "Save As" (5) or "Execute" (4) the script for all the selected photos.
- After clicking on "Execute", another window will pop up asking you for the target folder.
-Now select the folder you would like the processed photos to be saved in and click on "OK". The batch process will start then.

Here is a small screenshot...Hope it helps clarifying the stuffs above ;-)

If anything is not clear, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Cheers

Hi Hoang Tran,

I certainly appreciate the superb service from you and your team. Your software is number 1 for me right now, no kidding aside. I even use it as default RAW viewer as it opens very much faster than Capture One and Capture NX(I own a D300). Your batch tips above looks good but have no time to try it out yet. Will give you feedback whether I got it head-on or have stumbled instead.

Cheers & God bless.....Tony
