RGB-Max is an automatic image optimization option build in PhotoPerfect, which stretches the tone values of all three channels (Red, Blue and Green =RGB) to a maximum. Please also see this post about histogram:

RGB-Max is best suited for under-, overexposed photos or just photos with color cast, as these problems would be corrected by stretching the tone values.
If your photo is however correctly exposed, the tone values would also in most cases have been evenly distributed over the complete range already, so that RGB would not have any or only minor effect.
