Two pictures on top of each other

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to place a picture on top of another one and to give the top one a little transparency so that the bottom one shines through a bit (like putting two slides on top of one another on an overhead projector)?
Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Partially tranparency is not yet available, but maybe in the near future ... ;-)
