Default Pp & Ppe

Thanks I have downloaded both PPE and PP, and is running Windows 7.

I must say PPE is such a great software, and seem to be what I wanted excepted it does not support RAW! It would be great to make Pro Edition with RAW support, as I work on large batch of RAW and do find your software is excellent in conversion, not perfect but have several different choices make it ideal compare to some other software. I am very temped in getting this software, but still thinking about the RAW conversion issue/workflow issues.

Having said about the PPE, I also tried out PP because it support RAW. I do like PP to some extend, but can tell you RAW autocorrect looks to be cleaner and more accurate then the likes of Adobe Lighttroom, edges closer to Nikon's Capture NX2 (becuase I'm a Nikon User). However, unlike Lightroom and Nikon Capture NX 2, and most other competiting products I have tired, PP does not seem to support batch import of RAW files (unless there is a feature hidden somewhere with the programe), instead I have to individually adjust each RAW files I open, which make it very slow and not possible for what most professional photographers would like. I would have loved to use this software to do batching of Perfectly Clear's extension using RAW since PPE does not support RAW, so you have 2 good products but I think you may have missed the importance of making your software 'great'. In addition, the interface of PPE is superb, easy and very straight forward to the point, one of the best I've seen. But the PP is less disireable, as it is still slow, and icons are not nicely render and confusing, I think you should improve the interface similar to PPE, as it would make it a good use of the product's useablity (and yes, I know PPE is a much simplier product).

So for me now, I am still undecided what to do. I am challenged to looked for a better and more accurate exposure/colour correction/ehnacement product that makes my life a little bit easier, and have tested a number of products and conitinue to test some new ones, but so far it is your product that seen to nailed most of it, but has some limitations that is making me think twice. So, perhaps this user feedback (I hope you don't feel offended, as I'm just one picky user), will help future improvements.

Less then perfect... but getting close.

Cheers
Tom

If there is enough demand for this feature, why not? We will keep monitoring this request of yours.

PP is able to batch process RAW files - also via Perfectly Clear - via scripting. How skilled are you in scripting? If you wish we can chat more about that via PM.

Do you try PP natively on Win 7 or in XP mode? On our test systems, PP virtually 'flies', at least in play with all files but RAW...

Thanks again for your thoughtful suggestions. This a long term project, inwhich we are already involved...

### Sorry, I don't have a clue on programming the scripting, However I did look at it, and gave up.

### I'm using your beta version, in Windows 7. Runing an i7 processor with 8GB of RAM and plenty of HDD space. Other programs are running fine. Maybe, my expectation is too great... Hehehehe
