Similar to spot metering in camera.

Similar implementation to White_Balance_Spot in pp, which is an excellence and well defined function.

Do you mean somekind of eyedropper tool? That's a good thing and would get my vote. BTW... when would you use that function the most?

Hi Hoang-Tran,

Yes, either eye dropper or rectangular tool.
To resemblance camera spot metering, I think using a ring tool would be more impressive.

Likely that this function will be used regularly, as a quick way to check, evaluate or correct exposure.

As this is essentially a trial and error method, actual implementation should allow user to compare the pictures before and after change, on screen.

Just my 2 cents worth...
