Scanned Image Editing

Though this is not of the top priority, but…
To be distinguishable for other popular photo editing tools, may I suggest the following.

Functions to enhance Scanned image editing

A) Crop_&_ Straighten
B) Dust_&_ Scratch_removal.

Crop_&_ Straighten is built-in function in Photoshop CS3, under the menu File/Automate. Though it works satisfactorily in CS3 most of the time, there is still room for improvement.

Dust_&_Scratches can be found in CS3 and Corel Photo-Paint, both are well done, is an effective filter for dust removal.

Hi,

As you have probably known, PhotoPerfect supports macros and scripts. If you know VB scripting, it would also be possible to build powerful custom scripts, what would take care of different automatic functions quite effectively. I can imagine that "crop& straighten" could be done that way.

Dust & scratch removal would take more time IMO.

Nevertheless both suggestions are tagged :-)
