Frage Why doesn't the program fits on my new monitor?

I changed my monitor for a 24" IPS HP.
Everything works OK, but when I have a photo and press D, the two photos bellow (of the four), don't show the bar where I can Execute, or do a different thing.
I have tried almost everything, but I could not fix the problem.
Can you help? I understand that may be something very simple, but I don't find the solution.
I have restarted the computer and nothing. Then, i uninstalled the program and reinstalled it, but the problem subsists.
The monitor is a 6X9, as it was the other.
Kind regards
Joao

What resolution does your old monitor has ? And the new one? I'm currently using 2x24" HP monitors as well without any problem.

It seems that the program still stores the resolution of your old monitor in its settings.

Normally uninstall the program via 'Start-All programs - PhotoPerfect - PhotoPerfect Uninstall' and reinstall it again with the option 'Reset menus and toolbars' checked (it's the 5th installation screen - the first one is 'Welcome to the PhotoPerfect Setup Wizard) should resolve this issue.

Best regards

The two monitors have the same resolution. One has 22"-the one that is not active now- and the HP has 24".
I have done exactly what you recommend, uninstalling and reinstalling the program with checked "Reset menus and toolbars". I have already done it twice, without solving the problem.
What do you suggest more?
Kind regards.

Could you tell us the resolution as number, please (eg. 1900x 1200). If I understand correctly, currently you are only using the HP 24"? Is the other one also attached to your computer? We need these information to be able to examine this issue.

Meanwhile, could you please download this file:

http://www.arcadiasoftware.com/downl...otoPerfect.zip

unzip it to your desktop (of course else where is also OK), and perform a double-click on the unzipped file, which is DelPhotoPerfect. Please answer with 'Run' and 'Yes' when asked by your system. This file will then remove/reset all old settings of PhotoPerfect. After that just install PhotoPerfect again.

Does that help then?

Best regards

One addtional question: Is the missing bar behind the windows taskbar / covered by the window taskbar? If yes, can you try to activate the ' Auto-hide the taskbar' option please. You can do so via right-click the taskbar and select 'Properties'. Btw . what OS are you using?

Thanks

Before I download the program to remove completely the program, let me give you the additional information you have asked for:
The monitor resolution is 1920X1200 pixels
The monitor is an HP ZR24W
The monitor is the only one I have connected to my PC (a Quad core HP 8159, with 8 GB of RAM.
The OS is Windows Vista.
I am going now to download the program and run it. I will let you know afterwords.
Kind regards
Joao

I downloaded the program, unzipped it, Clicked run...but it does not open. It goes to Note Block(?). I have my windows in Portuguese and the name is Bloco de Notas and I may have done a poor translation.
Anyway, I can't run the program and I am very used to download Zipped and unzipped programs without any problem. This is the first time that this happens.
By the way: I also did what you asked me about the Taskbar, also without success.
Kind regards.

Hi again:
I just remembered that the Portuguese Bloco de Notas is Windows Notepad.
So, and to clarify, unzipping, when I press twice the downloaded file and and I press Run, instead of installing the program (?) as usual, it opens the Notepad. From there, I don't know what to do.
Kind regards
Joao

Thanks for your information, which helps us understand the problem better. Then our suggestion to use the DelPhotoPerfect file would not solve this issue. So please just ignore it.

Currently we are trying to reproduce the issue you reported on our test systems. If we are successful in doing so, we would also be able to bake in a fix.

Btw... as a work around you can also double click on the preview photo of the 2 extensions, whose bar are hidden/covered. This will prompt the corresponding extension to be executed, instead of pressing the 'Execute' button on the hidden bar.

Besides could you also install the latest version of PhotoPerfect please:

http://www.arcadiasoftware.com/downl...p-eng-beta.exe

Does it help?

Additionally may we ask you for a screenshot, please? This would help us a lot? You can either attached this screenshot in your post or send us to our support address ppsupport@arcadiasoftware.com

Thanks

Thanks a lot for your reply. I can't forget that today is Sunday and you are helping me as if it was a working day.
I sent you the screenshot to the e-mail address that you provided me.
As you can see, and I may not seeing clear, there is no way to do the preview just for the lower photos.
I don't see a way of defining just one and the preview affects, at leas, the two on the top, but I think it affects all of them.
How can I, just with the double click you suggested, select the one I prefer?
Thanks again.
Warm regards
Joao
