Specifics regarding update procedure?

Hi,

I´m still pretty new to PhotoPerfect, so I was surprised to find already a new build of the program just after a few weeks. Is there something I have to take care of when installing the new version?

Do I have to uninstall the old distribution first? What´s about my current settings?

We regularly update PhotoPerfect on a quite fast pace to provide our users with new functions, which might enhance their workflow and extend their possibility. After all customer´s satisfaction has top priority for us

Updating PhotoPerfect is very easy. Just install the new build/version and PhotoPerfect will automatically replace the old one. Uninstalling the old version prior to that is not necessary.

Most of your settings will be kept as well. The only exception is the menu and toolbar settings. At the beginning of the updating process you will be asked, whether the menu and toolbar should be resetted. If you uncheck the corresponding option box, the PhotoPerfect will keep these settings as well. However resetting the menu and toolbar is recommended for a clean update.
