Hi,
when the "Save As" dialog is called, all the drives on the computer system are checked for storage media. If there are network drives available, finding and checking them may take a while. Also, failing to find network drives which are still registered may cause a delay. Thus deactivating not used or slow storage media and network drives may help.
Finally, it could simply be that a very large image folder with a few hundred or thousand images slows the startup. In this case it might be beneficial to deactivate the "Show All Files" option in the "Options" tab of the "Save As" dialog. The same applies to the "Use Directory Tree" option. Just set these 2 options to "No".
Besides reducing the JPEG saving quality in "Files->Options->" to 97 or lower and deactivate the "Determine File size automatically" can speed up the "Save As" dialog as well.
Best regards
